01:07 am - Wow, Google has done it agian. What can I say about google's newest implementation of useful tools? In one word, goodstuff. Ok thats not really a word, but it is if I were to separate them. What I'm trying to say is Google Calender and Google Personalized Home are some of the greatest implementations from ideas to working concepts. Sometimes ideas never turn out the way they're supposed to, and I'm not saying I know the initial concepts behind them. But the end product of what they made live is great! Check them out. I used rainlender and outlook for my calender needs, but no longer will I have to worry about having access to my computer to have a look at whats coming up. There's something on the internet, I log on and its there. I don't have to worry about formatting my computer and forgetting to back up precious birthday lists (since I can't remember them if my life depended on it... unless you're harris, feb 25). Also with these calenders, you can make them public, or private, you can allow people to change or create events. There's also a guest list type thing and comments, so Party, get togethers and other events can easily be organized and checked. (ivan looks at dan....)
Then there's google personalized home. It would be great once I figure out how to make it show my upcoming events on my calenders on google calender to show up on this. heh but for the most part, its pretty good for all those RSS feeds you got. Just add them to your personalized home, and they'll display the recent additions as well as the standard google search box. Its basically easy to use and convenient for searching.
Well here's my standard calender, it has nothing but my exam schedule lol, if you want to look at it: http://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/6r4a4csfcktpkug2tou2gucn0g@group.calendar.google.com/public/basic goto google calenders and add a friends, and then use this link, and I'll allow you to see me! :D
Anyway hopefully those two things will keep you amused for a while.. I know it keeps me amused ;) Current Mood: busy

12:00 am - UltraViolet (the movie) I just finished watching this movie... and I got a few things to say.... if you like watching movies like a zombie, where nothing has to make sense, character development means nothing, flashy high budget visuals are only there to attempt to give you eye candy (in which it does not), and the fighting style and whatnot doesn't have to make perfect sense, then ultraviolet will give you the greatest movie going experience you'd ever felt.
For me, I don't enjoy movies that have little character development, physics that don't make sense, fighting that doesn't make sense, and a host of other things that don't make sense. Allow me to provide an example on how physics doesn't make sense (even though it's a sci-fi movie, it is possible to have physics not make sense, for example i'm forgiving the anti-gravity belt she has that allows her to stand on the ceiling). there's a scene in the movie where she speeds up her moto bike on a roof in an attempt to fly into the helicopter. I can accept that idea, I've seen james bond do it a few times... so its nothing new... but the thing that really got me was the fact that when she hit the air, there was a dude manning the gattling gun, firing at her while she's in the air flying towards the helicopter.... now what doesn't make sense to me is that he was actually able to miss around 100-200 shots when she's delebrately flying towards him... then the next thing that got me was that she flew right through oneside of the copter and out the other... shooting all the men in the helecopter.. but when she exited the helecopter.. it exploded!!!! lol, ahh.. the greatness... anyway I may not seem like I make sense right now, its mainly because they basically shut my brian down.. with the crappy script and the large amounts of cliche ideas and plot development...
so if you decided to skip the previous paragraph... what I'm trying to say is go watch the movie.. its great... it'll entertain you...

02:15 am - sigh, exam tommorrow at 8:30AM Haven't updated in the longest time... i don tknow why... o well here goes... originally i made this journal because of some crappy whims of iris.... so being uncreative i decided to make this a place you go to to waste precious time...
time waster number 1: http://www.questionswap.com great site to ask questions to the interweb, and have random interweb people answer your questions... of course to be fair, if you ask a question you must answer a question... (minutes if not hours of entertainment)
time waster number 2: how do you think of Ivan? http://kevan.org/johari?name=Ivan0001
[edit] time waster number 3: how do you think of Bad Ivan? http://kevan.org/nohari?name=Ivan0001 [/edit] i'm curious, thats why i decided to do it... (also feigning studying)... anyway have fun! -ivan Current Mood: tired

04:37 pm hehehe, harris is a funny guy. He recently did some video dubbing using his voice and a friend's voice and sent me the file for consideration and comments. Long story short, i cut a scene from it and decided to send it out to everyone who wants to know.... Scene titled (by me) : "Harris Having Fun" Scene Summary: Girl panting, Harris Panting, sound of a Thump. End scene.
hehe if you want it.. message me and i'll send it to you, if you dont want it, i'll send it to you anyway. hehe another chapter in "Ivan's: I'm gonna corrupt you, Harris!" epic Novel!

08:48 pm - Ivan Proves That There Is No Lucky Number: In a recent conversation with Ewen, i proved that there is no lucky number.
Ivan: you know that mars has a contest where 1 in 7 bars wins another bar? Ivan: well I bought 14 Ivan: and i won 2 so far - e w e n : LOL 14?!?!?!?! - e w e n : wahhhhhh - e w e n : lol.. heheh.... youve got good luck =) Ivan: lol not really - e w e n : no i did not know of the contest.. for it has been so long since a candy bar has entered this mouth of mine Ivan: did you know that if you buy 7 mars bars at 7 eleven Ivan: the cost after tax is $7.77 - e w e n : :-O - e w e n : lol - e w e n : hahahahaaha youre such a dork Ivan: lol Ivan: what? Ivan: i bought 7 - e w e n : :P Ivan: then noticed the price and bought another 7 - e w e n : hahaha Ivan: cant go wrong with 9 counts of 7 Ivan: 7.77 has 3 another of the same is another 3 7 bars is one another of the same is another one and one in 7 eleven Ivan: so thats like 9 counts of 7 - e w e n : o.O - e w e n : 3 + 3 + ... *loses count* Ivan: 3+3+1+1+1 Ivan: nine! - e w e n : sure..............................8-) Ivan: lol Ivan: i would be happier if it settled in an even 7 total - e w e n : heh.. Ivan: then that would have a total of 8 sevens, which wouldn't be lucky Ivan: so... i guess the best chance is to settle for 6 sevens... but that would never be a 7th lucky Ivan: hmm Ivan: wow i reached nirvana... 7 will never be a lucky number - e w e n : ummm *tugs on your arm* Ivan: since once your reach exactly 7 - e w e n : 8-) Ivan: you get 8 counts of 7 Ivan: instead of the desired 7 counts - e w e n : lol...... Ivan: and if you think you can go one less... Ivan: it will never add up to 7 Ivan: wow! - e w e n : ivan...is.....dwelling...on the number of 7s... 8-) - e w e n : LOL Ivan: the world tricked me into believing seven is a lucky number - e w e n : hahahahahaha *amused* Ivan: but then if you apply this knowledge to other numbers.. Ivan: the same applies to infinity Ivan: that means that in the known world.. there is no such thing as a lucky number! - e w e n : o.O lol... - e w e n : interesting Ivan: yes i solved the riddle!
And that is how you prove that there is no lucky number! Disclaimer: What I say is ultimately correct, and if you attempt to give me a counter argument or prove that my argument is false, it doesn't matter, I am ultimately correct. Have A Nice Day.
the conversation has been edited, to make it easier for you to read. Enjoy. Current Mood: working

08:43 pm hello, first of all, sorry allison. :(
now for the update on my previous exam information: this is what i posted: out of all those exams and assignments i had this week 1 assignment 100% 1 quiz 100% 1 midterm 70%-80% 1 midterm 50%-70% 1 midterm 80%-95%
and this is what i got:
1 assignment 100% 1 quiz 85% 1 midterm <50% 1 midterm 70% (on the money) 1 midterm 52%
so ya.. i got raped... (those marks are inputed based on the previous post. so i thought i got 70-80% nope.. i only got less than 50%).
its a nice day out side *weeps inside* P.S. the damn mood icon shows me as happy... its misleading.... Current Mood: shocked
